Legacy Rules & Guidelines

The following rules and guidelines are in place to keep the ARKADE PvE Legacy cluster healthy and happy for the long run. These rules are subject to change without public notification, although we will do our best to communicate with the community. In some cases a poll may be posted, but all polls are not binding, sometimes they give us a feel for the community thoughts. In the end, we do what we feel is most healthy for the cluster.

Please cooperate with these rules and guidelines to help us maintain a healthy cluster. Rule violations may result in the removal of your structures, creatures, items or (if serious enough) banning of your account from the community. Players will be given a warning first before action is taken.

This list is not exhaustive but represents clear guidelines for players to adhere to when playing on the ARKADE PvE clusters. For anything you might be unsure of, please use your best judgement. When in doubt, feel free to contact The ARKADE team to ensure your actions are within the guidelines of our rules.

- Interactions with other players or the ARKADE team must adhere to the following rules on all ARKADE platforms this includes signs & paintings found in game.

◈ This includes but is not limited to language which is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise extensively offensive. (This includes real world political topics.)
◈ Posting personal information about yourself or others. Such as, but not limited to: last names, IDs, addresses, phone numbers, emails, schools, or financial information of any sort. ◈ Disrupting any communication platforms such as intentionally causing the chat screen to scroll faster than other users are able to read, or setting up macros with large amounts of text that, when used have a disruptive effect on the normal flow of chat. Loud disrupting sounds or contentiously joining and leaving discord channels is not allowed.
◈ Promotions of other Ark Survival servers or advertisements, including scamming, hacking, exploits, or the sale of goods and services unless trading within the game for game specific resources, for example, 50 Stone for 1 Polymer, A trike for a Rex, etc.
◈ Inappropriate videos, images, audio, emojis or links can result in removal of the post on any ARKADE platforms. (If you do not know if said media is acceptable do not post it.)
◈ Interactions with the community (this includes the ARKADE team) must be respectful - All community members are expected to maintain a respectful attitude when communicating with a member of the ARKADE community and the team at all times. This is across all ARKADE platforms, and includes harassing team members in DMs.

- Griefing will be determined by the ARKADE team and are not limited but can include the following:

◈ Malicious intent on the community, servers, and/or content of other players.
◈ Manipulating the rules as a means to get other community members punished.
◈ Intentionally having a negative impact on the ARKADE community can result in punishment.
◈ Absorbing tribes with the intent to take their structures, items, or creatures to then kick them from the tribe.
◈ Insiding: All tribe structures, items, and creatures belong to the tribe owner. Do not join a tribe with the intent to grief / inside a tribe.
◈ Do not help players without asking for their permission first. If the player declines your help, respect their wishes and do not get involved.
◈ Non-consensual player versus player such as picking, stealing, drowning, kiting creatures to other survivors' creatures or structures or anything of similar nature.
◈ Leaving tames unattended outside of your base is not allowed. This may result in your creature being moved or possibly destroyed by the ARKADE team without warning.
◈ Blocking obelisk terminals, city terminals, titan arena terminals, desert crates, water crates, cave crates, orbital supply drops, element veins, missions, or glitches is not allowed.
◈ Structures shall NOT be placed for the purpose of disrupting other community members' game play under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to: Structures placed to entrap, impede, hinder or block survivor spawn points, player structures, or player characters. Trap Bases, Shields or Platforms that engulf other players' structures or creatures.
◈ Eggs collected from nests are not to be dropped. This can affect the nearby egg spawns. If the egg is not desirable, consume it.
◈ Mass flooding the market in a short amount of time with several creatures or items without first contacting the admin team can result in the complete removal of tribes, structures, items, and creatures without warning
◈ First come, first serve. Events, spawns and loot belong to the first player to reach the location. This includes but is not limited to nests, spawns, sky drops, other open world loot, open world events where applicable. Do not attempt to assist or collect loot without the players explicit permission. (e.g. Raptor Claus drops, Dodo Wyvern spawns, OSD, Titans, Element Veins, Wyvern Nests, Rock Drake Nests, Supply Crates, Loot Crates, etc.)

◈ Pillars, foundations, and other methods used to block or reserve land shall not be permitted. ◈ Each tribe shall not surpass 8,000 structure items per map. Type /ShowLimits in chat to see your tribe's structure count overall on the map.
◈ Each tribe is allowed a maximum of 4 base locations and 4 public teleporters per map. VIP tribes are allowed one extra spot to be used solely for a public teleporter. Mobile structures, such as those built on a platform saddle, raft, or skiff, count as a single base location.
◈ Construction in artifact and mini-boss caves is permitted, however such construction is limited to small open-air structures such as a sleeping bag, public teleporter, or unlocked repair stations that do not hinder access to the cave. "Outposts" are NOT to be built inside artifact caves, and under no circumstances shall any construction block, hinder, or otherwise restrict access to any loot crate, explorer note, artifact container or rune.
◈ Building within 50 foundations of another tribe's already established base shall not be permitted without that tribe's permission. Land disputes shall be settled amongst tribes initially, with admin arbitration being a last resort. Admin rulings shall be final in all cases.
◈ “Taming pens” must be removed immediately after the creature is tamed or killed. Permanent "taming pens" are allowed only within the confines of a tribe's "main base".
◈ “Gacha towers” shall be placed in such a manner as to not cause undue hardship to other players. Tribes shall not place more than 10 Gacha Gavagers per tribe per map. This also includes only up to 10 Gacha creatures out on the map at one time, keep the rest in soul balls.
◈ Sleeping bags, campfires, 2x2 or smaller foundations/beds will be cleaned up periodically on all maps. ◈ Structures shall NOT be placed so as to prevent beaver dams or wild dino nests from spawning in a given area.
◈ Structures must not block resource rich areas that include the following: metal, obsidian, crystal, black pearls. Each report will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
◈ Passive farming structures, including the Gas Collector, Tree Sap Tap, and Oil Rig, may be placed on appropriate nodes, however all such structures must be unlocked and free to access.
